Banana Nut Pizzelles

Hey everybody! For breakfast I pulled out my old pizzelle maker that I got for christmas years ago and made banana nut pizzelles! They were so good! So here it goes:

1 3/4 cups flour- i used half all-purpose and half cake- u can use any flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. baking powder
1 browned banana
1 tsp.  ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. anise seed
3 room temp eggs
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter- melted and cooled
1/4 cup crushed almonds

How: Beat the eggs and sugar until combined. Add the vanilla and butter in while beating. In a separate bowl mush up a banana with the anise, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Set aside. Pour in the flour and baking powder while mixing. Add the banana mixture and the almonds. Fold in. It should be thick enough to drop by spoon... maybe using another spoon to push it off. Put a spoonful in the pizzelle maker and clamp down. If they spill out of the edges wipe it and let it go for 30 more seconds or until they unstick or until the timer goes off... on some pizzelle machines... lay on a paper towel down and set the pizzelles on it to crisp up. You can shape it however you want when it comes out... like a cannoli or anything... it will stay in the shape. I am going to make a cannoli and ill post it.... BYE
