White-Cap Hot Chocolate

I was bored and hungry for something sweet so I invented this. I was watching Giada and she was making a espresso white-cap so I made one but for kids with hot chocolate. It was very yummy.

Serves: 2
Hot chocolate:
1 cup cream
1 cup milk
1 tbs. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbs. cocoa powder
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Cream:
1/2 cup cream
2 tbs. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Over simmer heat your milk, cream, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg until all is combined.
Add the cocoa powder, chocolate, and sugar... mix well let simmer for 2 minutes. DO NOT LET BOIL!!! Take off heat. Whip everything for the whipped cream together in a mixer or by hand until stiff peaks are formed. Pour hot chocolate into a cup and dollop with whipped cream. Add a few chocolate chips on top for decor. ENJOY!!!

I will be sharing my main "recipe of the week" on Sunday which I created tonight.

Come back!! Thanks!
