Steak Salad or Regular Steak






Steak:
2 good sized t-bone steaks
2 cloves garlic
3 leafs basil- cut in chiffanade
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. cumin seed
2 tsp. smoked paprika
3 tbs. EVOO

HOW:
Put your EVOO and all spices in a marinating bowl. Mix well. Put steak in marinating bowl. Let it soak for 15 minutes. Once done, heat up your grill on high heat. Sprinkle 1 clove garlic on each steak. After 2 minutes place your steak on grill. Cook for 2 minutes. Turn 45 degrees. This gives it a nice char. Cook for 3 more minutes. Flip and do the same as the other side. Let sit. After that cut it into long wedges! Enjoy. If you want steak salad use the following salad recipe.



Salad:
2 cups fresh baby spinach
2 tbs. dijon mustard
1/2 red onion
pinch salt
pinch pepper
1/4 tsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tbs. EVOO

HOW:
Put spinach in a bowl. Cut thin rings of red onion and put in the bowl. In a smaller bowl mix in the mustard, balsamic, pepper, salt, and cumin seed. Then stir in EVOO. Whisk until all is combined. Toss into salad. Take your salad and lay it on a platter. Lay your steak slices down on top. Enjoy!!
this is just the steak but the steak salad is delish!!!
