My Attempt of Grilled Scallops over Wheat Pasta

Hi!!! I make dinner a lot in the week for my family and tonight I tried to make Grilled Scallops over Wheat Pasta. It was very tasty and wasn't so bad but I didn't think it was blog worthy. It sounded great in my mind and I cooked it properly but I don't know what happened... maybe it was just there wasn't enough flavor. I let it marinate but maybe I didn't let it marinate long enough. I did a citrusy type of thing with lemon juice and zest, salt, pepper, garlic, fresh dill, some dried thyme, and a little olive oil. I tried to keep it simple but I love to go crazy and keep it flavorful. The good thing is... is that the wheat pasta turned out AMAZING!!! Just my usual pasta but it was really good.

Wheat pasta in some boiled water with lots of salt and pepper and after it finished cooking I poured some melted butter over it. It was really good and had a bite to it. It was very al dente which I love!

In this pic I decorated it with some lemon and I made a cucumber salad with tomatoes... simple, just cucumbers, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, honey, lemon, and EVOO!!

Tomorrow night for dinner I'm making some teriyaki and honey salmon with roasted potatoes and a spinach salad... please come back and check it out. Hopefully this will be blog worthy... making my own teriyaki sauce!!!
